Metrics is Breed Bio's business intelligence software on top of all Breed Bio applications. The system automatically collects data from applications and visualizes the data in opinionated dashboards. These dashboards offer at-a-glance overviews of important laboratory topics such as efficiency and quality.

Metrics is currently in public beta, meaning we're giving all Genotyper users free access. We welcome you to provide feedback, feature requests or ideas as openly ass possible.

Getting started with Metrics

The Metrics parameters are performed on all authorized Genotyper analyses and are divided into 2 categories:

Hover over the navigation icon in the upper left corner to open the navigation menu and choose the category of your interest in the top panel.

From the middle panel of the navigation menu you can browse to your other Breed Bio apps, such as Genotyper.

Using filters

Set filters to narrow the scope of the data that's being analyzed. In general, filters will be stored, even if you switch through different dashboards (for available filters).

Tip:

Use SHIFT + click on the last item of your choice, to select a list of items in the assays filter.

Exporting data

The export button in the upper right corner serves to create .csv export files per analysis that is part of your selection.

Open 'Exports' in the navigation menu to download the export files.

Navigating to detail views

For each parameter a details page is available. Each dot on the graph represents a day, week or month, depending on the level of detail that was chosen for the horizontal axis:

Click on the dot to open the details page.

A fly-out menu on the right side of the screen opens when clicking to see datapoint details.
