Shipment management
Customers can now bundle multiple orders into a single shipment, print a packing slip, and include it with their physical parcel. This ensures full traceability between their premises and your laboratory.
When a shipment arrives, your team can mark it as received. All related order states are automatically updated, reducing manual work and keeping dashboards in sync.
For laboratories where samples are delivered internally, such as when the breeding station is on the same site, the shipping feature can be disabled in the customer settings.
Marker and customer relationship
The relation between markers, crops, varieties and customers has been simplified and made more flexible. The marker-customer link is now the only required connection.
Other links, such as customer-crop or marker-crop, are optional and can be used as helpers for bulk assignments. You can still use these to automatically assign markers across multiple customers, but they are no longer mandatory.
This change simplifies data management and improves the ordering experience.
Marker catalog
The marker catalog now includes new metadata fields and ordering options.
Allow customers to request new SNP designs from the laboratory
Add primer sequences, SNP sequence, and a unique LGC ordering ID directly in the catalog
These changes support both service laboratories and seed companies, providing a more complete data structure for marker management.
Reserved positions on plates
The definition of reserved wells has been generalized. Previously, only "NTC" was recognized as a reserved position. From now on, any specified value can represent a reserved position, such as empty wells for positive controls or blanks.
Multi-customer user
You can now assign one user to multiple customers; this opens up the possibility to have one breeder working for multiple customers or on multiple sites. When such a user places an order, the relevant customer has to be selected.
