What is Lab Portal?
Lab Portal is a collaborative online platform designed specifically for agrigenomics labs and their customers to manage laboratory work. It brings customers (breeders) and laboratory teams onto the same page, replacing fragmented workflows with a structured, end-to-end system that supports planning, sample setup, data processing, and result delivery.
The platform eliminates the need for spreadsheets, email chains, and manual data re-entry. Instead, all users work on the same shared data environment: customers create and ship orders, while labs track, process, and authorize results. All from within a unified interface. Statuses are updated in real-time, sample and plate layouts are centralized, and data integrity is preserved from start to finish.
Lab Portal is designed to be fast, intuitive, and purpose-built for agrigenomics workflows. Customers can easily copy-paste sample lists or import plate files, labs can export worklists or Kraken files in a click, and everyone always sees the latest state of an order. Whether you’re handling hundreds of samples or collaborating across organizations, Lab Portal makes it easier to get the job done right.
